Solutions for decarbonization

Reduciner is a startup born to tackle industrial CO₂ emissions with a breakthrough solution. We are developing a patented technology that transforms CO₂ into valuable products for fuels, industry, and carbon removal.

Core Technology

Reducine’s technology transforms what has long been seen as a problem into a valuable solution. Our patented electrically heated process converts carbon dioxide — a major greenhouse gas — into a clean carbon monoxide stream that can be used as a versatile building block for synthetic fuels, industrial gases, and chemical products.

This means that CO₂ captured from emission sources is no longer a burden but a resource — accelerating the green transition of industry and creating new, climate-positive business opportunities. Reducine’s innovation is set to revolutionize CO₂ utilization and open the way to a sustainable, low-carbon future.

Electrifying Industry through CO₂ Reduction

At the heart of Reduciner’s technology is a thermochemical and catalytic process that reduces CO₂ into carbon monoxide (CO). Powered by renewable electricity, the process transforms CO₂ into CO-rich syngas, storing energy in chemical form.

Why CO Syngas Matters

A parallel to hydrogen: Like green hydrogen, CO syngas is an energy carrier, but with distinct advantages in industrial applications.

Indirect electrification of combustion: CO-rich syngas enables traditional combustion-based processes to be indirectly electrified without abandoning existing equipment or infrastructure.

Synthetic hydrocarbons: Together with hydrogen, CO is the essential building block for producing synthetic fuels (e-fuels, e-methanol, e-SAF), enabling the decarbonization of aviation, shipping, and heavy industry.

Patented Innovation

Reduciner’s process is protected by a portfolio of granted patents and pending applications, including international PCT filings. These cover the core CO₂ reduction method, process integration with cement & lime kilns and other industrial combustion based systems, and biogas upgrading.

Industrial Readiness

The technology is being scaled with a wide partner network, with multiple Letters of Intent already signed. Demonstration projects are under preparation and will be announced soon.

Carbon Monoxide Applications

Carbon monoxide as a fuel
Carbon monoxide (CO) is a combustible gas that can directly replace fossil fuels in high-temperature industrial processes. It provides an efficient energy source for lime kilns, cement plants, steel production, and other combustion-based operations where both heat and reducing conditions are required.

Carbon monoxide as a feedstock
Beyond its role as a fuel, CO is also a vital intermediate for the production of synthetic hydrocarbons. It serves as a cornerstone in processes such as Fischer–Tropsch synthesis and methanol production, enabling the conversion of CO₂ into sustainable aviation fuel, e-methanol, e-diesel, and other low-carbon chemicals that support the energy transition.
