Our activated carbon is made from biogenic carbon feedstocks, offering an alternative to fossil-based materials. We work with customers to define the required properties, select suitable grades and evaluate their performance through application-specific testing.

Suitability depends on your process
Gas purification starts with understanding which compounds need to be removed and under what conditions. Activated carbon adsorbs selected compounds onto its internal pore surfaces. Its suitability depends on the target compounds, gas composition, temperature and humidity, as well as the requirements of the purification system.

A joint evaluation would focus on:
Target compounds and their concentrations.
Adsorption capacity and breakthrough behaviour.
The effects of humidity and operating temperature.
Particle size, mechanical durability and pressure drop.
